My 2 cents:
- 24/192 support: yes, that's childish, I can't even find 24/96
material that suit my musical tastes, but the more the better.
- better DAC: a very well done, 400€ DIY DAC clearly defeated my
Transporter saturday, and I'm now feeling depressed
- analog volume control: I've tried using my TP as a preamp recently,
and it was simply unbearable to my ears. Disabling volume control on the
Transporter and using a used 200€ pre offered far better results.

IMHO, so nice the actual Transporter is, its retail price is far too
high for what it gives (got mine with a 40% rebate, and am still
thinking it's a bit expensive). In my experience, if you get a SB3 and a
good DAC, you'll have something performing - for 99% of the people -
equally, if not better than the Transporter.
