Where would you ask a specific Transporter question? General Discussion, Audiophile, or elsewhere? I have mixed feelings about using the Audiophile Section for TP questions. TP mods has a place inside the DIY Section. SC and SN questions regarding the TP would go in the SC/SN Sections. Since the Boom, Duet, SC, and SN have their own sections that leaves the older models, SB3, and Transporter to end up in General Discussion. And after all, the Transporter is truly different from the other players with more inputs and outputs as well as the TransNav™ controller. To me the Transporter is the top of the line NMP and should have its own section even if it isn't the unit with the most production numbers. It is a showcase unit which makes me again think why no Transporter Section. Linux/Unix have their own section and aren't those just really mostly SC related questions that should be inside the SC Section? Oh well, probably as many reason why as why not to have its own section. One thing it would do would make it easier to search on using the Advanced Search function by narrowing it down to only search the Transporter Section. -- iPhone *iPhone* Media Room: Transporter, VTL TL-6.5 Signature Pre-Amp, Ayre MX-R Mono's, VeraStarr 6.4SE 6-channel Amp, Vandersteen Speakers: Quatro Mains, VCC-5 Reference Center, four VSM-1 Signatures, Video: Runco RS 900 CineWide AutoScope 2.35:1 Living Room: Duet, ADCOM GTP-870HD, Cinepro 3K6SE III Gold, Vandersteen Model 3A Signature, Two 2Wq subs, VCC-2, Two VSM-1 Kitchen: Squeezebox BOOM Bedroom: SB3, GFR-700HD, Thiel 2.3, Second Boom Home Office: SB3, NAD C370, two VSM-1 Home Gym: SB3, Parasound Vamp v.3, Thiel PowerPoint 1.2 House Portable: SB3, Audioengine A5 Ford Thunderbird: Duet, Mac Mini Ford Expedition: SB3, ToughBook ------------------------------------------------------------------------ iPhone's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13622 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=65324
