Other advantages of the transporter:

- it plays 24/96 flac files (for example from HDTracks.com)
- you can use it as a wireless bridge for a DVD player or other
components that would like to have access to the web
- use it as a stand-alone dac for other digital sources
- much better wireless reception than a duet receiver
- tons of configuration options
- much better audio quality
- manual controls (buttons, wheel)
- display more information

Hope that helps.
