Well that would be even worse because it would mess up the FLAC files which are my lossless backup of my CDs. The 'poluuting' bit is just because if I do file copies and whatnot I find it easier to have one type of file only, otherwise I have to use robocopy which isn't as simple as drag-n-drop.
