I find handheld quite difficult to use on the N97/5800, There's 'this skin' (http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=63929) but I haven't tried it.
Hopefully now Symbian/Nokia have started there own application store (like Apple) a developer will be tempted to write an app. There is already a '.NET app' (http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=63593&highlight=moose), maybe this could be scaled down and converted to Symbian.
