The global steps to get a remote server working are:
Pre-req:
- Allow MySql remote access (refer to remote server screen in ACC)
- Install MySQL ODBC driver
- Map a drive from the machine you run ACC from to the music share (or
select the option 'Use album cover stored in SqueezeCenter instead of
physical file'

Configure ACC:
- Enter IP number of the remote server
- Enter the correct 'Full remote physical path to music share'. Errors
here only cause album art not to appear but does not effect the display
of all albums and tracks in the database.
- Enter a starting folder to limit the scope. Without starting folder,
the complete database is processed. I my self have a large number of
single (not album related) tracks and a folder will all full albums
hence my starting folder is the full album folder.

I would advise though to test the initial settings to select a folder
with a few albums.

Send me the acc.log file and I'll see if I can help.
