I can never get either of my PCs to sleep. I tried using msconfig to disable all startup items to try and isolate any items that stop the PC from sleeping, but it seemed to go to sleep every time when I set it up to sleep after a minute. I could have all startup items as on and it would sleep but it seems as soon as I run any programs it just doesn't sleep and there is nowhere that indicates any trouble encountered so I'm no nearer to identifying whats stopping it from sleeping.
It might be winamp but I'm not sure, and I use that most of the time anyway so not using winamp is not a suitable solution. Couldn't get my Vista laptop to sleep whatsoever even with every startup item selected, although it sleeps just fine if I close the laptop lid.
