I don't have any inside knowledge, but I would say that there is definitely work going on that we don't know about. I would be extremely worried for the future of the Streaming Media Division of Logitech if there wasn't. A business that relies on selling a product, be it hardware or software, won't last long if they aren't constantly working on the next product, or even the next two or three product generations at the same time. That's just how things are. Do you think that MS finish Windows 7 and then go "Right, lets start Windows 8 now"? No, they will already have a Windows 8 team in place and now that Windows7 is RTM, a bunch of those devs will no migrate onto the Windows8 team. Others will be working on the next set of updates, bug fixes and service packs for Windows 7. That's how large developments work.
