OK. I confirm that turning wifi on works as it should. Have also upgraded to 7.3.3 (very bad idea :-( ) and immediately slimcontrol started working. I have one immediate comment, then I will report further findings later on: * I have a very large library which causes the server sometime to be slow in responding. In this situations there is no visual feedback on slincontrol that tells me what is happening so often I am in doubt wheter my touch to the screen was received or not. In one situation were I was in doubt and touched again variuos buttons as nothing was happening it resulted in chrashing both Slimcontrol and Squeezecenter. Therefore I recommend implementing some kind of visual feedback whenever an action that requires answer from Squeezecenter is started (almost anything having to do browsing the library).
