Assuming you have iPeng, you can do this right now - first, use safari to browse to "http://<squeezeCenter IP>:9000/stream.mp3". This will bring up a media player in safari.
Now hit the "home" button, and from the springboard launch iPeng. You should see the player listed as "Mozilla from <iPhone wireless IP>". Select it, and play away! Your actions may be a bit delayed, as your SC is converting to mp3 in the background, but otherwise it works perfectly for me! If you don't have iPeng, you could use a web browser on another device to control the player.
