I have a squeezebox classic whose display stopped working last week. It played music fine.
I called tech support, they had me do a factory reset (holding down '+' on remote) which did not fix anything. Unfortunately, the unit is no longer connected to my server. I've tried connecting it blind--following steps from other posts and looking at the display from by boom--but I can't get it reconnected. Would Robin's app be useful here?
