Hi I have been fiddling about with a Windows Media Center for a while now with Vista. I just upgraded to Windows 7 and things work perfectly, even with HD channels and HD files.
I don't live in the US, but accroding to many threads on www.thegreenbutton.com I think Windows is the only OS that supports Cablecards.
