The guy that was doing the development (or at least leading it up) doesn't work there any more. Though they don't put it on all of their artwork. Regarding the fingerprint generation - I think that it should be integrated in such a say that you can choose to do the fully analysis or not. I have a large collection and have no interest in running a full analysis on my library.
