That's what I'd like to do, but getting knobs to match the Copland ones
would be tough. I'd want two and I'd use them this way: a clickwheel
type interface for the menu system - spin to move up down the menu,
press to select. That would work for most functions. The other side
would be a push to play/pause, and left/right skip forwards backwards
type arrangment like the Copland CD.

Has anyone tried adding these types of functions through the port on
the SB2? Sometimes I can't find the remote when all I want to do is
start some music!

Thanks for the positive views on the case. There are smaller ones on
the Italian site that might suit other systems better, but I shuffled
the system order around on the stand tonight and it looks more
aesthetically right with the SB2 at the top now.

I also considered having a smaller box with a totally acrylic front
panel, like a certain brand of power amps that were around in the UK a
while ago. I can't remember their name now, but they were monoblocks
with red acrylic front panels on cubic cases.
