You are still missing the point, but thats okay. I don't want this whole multi-faceted thread to be taken over by your lack of understanding of what is actually an extremely common use-case. The guests don't need to install anything on their laptops. They don't use the SC for control. Its very simple really, all it would require is a mac version of wavinput.
