Hi I think it really depends on the type of music you like to listen to. I use a great site for "Dance" music called Beatport (www.beatport.com) that allows instant download of 320kbps MP3's or shipment of the WAV files to you on CD. There are loads of others to check out, I'm not sure about plain old Middle-of-the-Road music downloads or other genres but these sites do exist.
