For me, it's depends on the availability of the CD, the cost of the CD, and how important the album is for me. For instance, I recently transferred The Firm albums I have. It is interesting to listen to these again, but not worth the expense of the CD. And I happened to have some time on my hands. The other part of it is that I enjoy the the vinyl transfer process.
