Hm. that's a bit weird. iPeng gets its cover art from the server so it should be the same. Are you browsing by Music Folder? Apart from that the web UI and iPeng _should_ be identical, especially on the NowPlaying screen.
The one change I'm aware of is the bmp thing, yet that's already in 7.4.0 because the controller (and the radio) now has trouble with non-resized artwork which is what you did get with 7.3 and bmp.
