Great post!! "I voted for you" I forwarded the BUG to the Squeezebox Team. They informed me that the fix will be included in the new firmware delivered with 7.5. Please note that 7.5 is still in BETA and nothing can be guaranteed when it comes to releasing BUG fixes. However I will make sure that I keep you informed regarding this BUG.
