Reverted back to 7.3.3 and the problem clears. The file content has not been changed so can confirm the problem is with 7.4.X release.
Another problem of random song mix not excluding unchecked genres is also specific to 7.4.X As mentioned in a previous thread will open bugid's against both if not open already.
