I've got one of the last white SB3's which I bought direct from Slim Devices in April 07 when they were being discounted.
The display has developed a weird issue where a horizontal line across the display near the top (probably about 1/4 of the total display height) soemtimes flickers and sometimes disappears completely. I guess it's some kind of VFD issue but I also presume I'm out of warranty especially as I bought direct (I'm in the UK). It's still useable but it's annoying and doesn't look too good, is a new display needed and if so are they available and easy to fit? I guess I should try Logitech Support but I don't hold out too much hope that they will be able to do much and I figured I'd see what the likely cause is first.
