The SB2 looks almost exactly the same as an SB1/SB1G, like a $10 alarm clock with a very nice display. It came in both wired and wireless versions. Internally it's almost identical to the SB3 (so close, that for some time the server would say that SB3's were SB2's, since it really did behave the same way and use the same firmware). You can tell an SB2 from an SB1/SB1G by looking at the label on the bottom: it will say 'Squeezebox2' on it instead of 'Squeezebox'.
