sbs works someething like this afaik:

first it looks in the file for embedded art if thats not present it
looks in the same folder ! for cover.jpb folder.jpg and similar + some
extra names you specify yourself in the settings.

I don't know what picture formats is supported but jpeg is safe bet for
all cover art (some had tried to embed extremely large bmp just to have
the scanner to bomb out ) .

But here comes the "problem" this pretty much assumes the a quite
logical way of organizing folders music/artist/album/files .

So for an album in a format that don't support embedded cover art you
can have all files that belong to an album in the same folder and just
have a folder.jpg or cover.jpg

If you just dump 40000 odd files in the same dir and some of them have
no cover art and if there for some reason is a for example folder.jpg in
the same folder it will assumed as being "cover art" .

For some bizarre reason "folder.jpg" can be a hidden file in windows ?
or do I remember this correct ?
So look closely in the same folder as the file and have hidden and
system files visible.

If it can find no cover art it just display a standard placeholder
picture that grey disac on grey background pic.
It is uggly so if it is a live set of some kind, I usually google some
pic from the venue or from that artist homepage and use something
instead of that placeholder pic.
