Found it. It seems the only way to edit favorites is on the Home menu. If you mouse over "Favorites" an "edit" option will appear on the right. It is the *only* category where this is the case out of the items, which does not make it very intuitive. I think the "edit" button should always be next to "Favorites" to make it clear there is a special option there.
