I have no such problems either on my Windows/SB2 setup. The only
annoyance I get is periods when remote commands are followed by delays
of up to about two seconds; at most times response is virtually
instantaneous.

I do not think Perl itself can be fingered for any SlimServer
performance problems. However, regardless of the proportion of users
ModelCitizen's experience represents, his problem is obviously real. I
hope its cause can be found and corrected.
