1. No, no Squeezebox will take precedence (your assumption, it's wrong). 2. Yes. This is incomplete and impenetrable, too. The duet has two parts, a Controller and a Receiver. The Controller can be used to control the Receiver or the Boom, so do you control the Boom with the Controller or the Controls on the Boom? 3. I use iPeng. In iPeng it's not ambiguous, this is such for exactly the reason that I found the native UIs confusing in this point. 4. You always sync "on the server", no matter what you do. I assume you are talking about the web interface. Which version? Let's assume 7.4 or newer. Then the player you are NOT actually controlling will be the master, it's a "sync to" kind of UI as in "sync the current player to..." while I believe on the Duet Controller it's the other way around. I can't try the Boom's built-in UI, since I don't have it here right now. 5. ? 6. As I stated in 4. You will have to try yourself to find out which should be possible as soon as you are aware that there is such a difference and that there is no "precedence" of a unit. Which is what I told you. I could, but this would include moving over to the other room and powering up the Controller which I'm too lazy to do on a Jan. 1st. Sorry.
I don't have an 8 year old nephew, the 8 year olds I know talk twitter-speak which I don't understand. -- pippin --- see iPeng, the Squeezebox iPhone remote, at penguinlovesmusic.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------ pippin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13777 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=73371 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
