Stop using AlienBBC - the BBC are stopping the RealAudio streams and they seems to have downgraded the service.
Use the BBCiPlayer plugin or even just the plain WMA streams which BBC enabled to non UK in June 2009. It sounds like you are playing the Radio 4 LW service and not Radio 4 FM.
