All I can say, is that when I bought my first Boom, I had some interesting discussions with the UK distributor:
He said that Logitech batch produce product, and don't seem to have any clever scheduling. When they run out then they seem to schedule next batch. He said he is regularly out of stock for 4 to 6 weeks. So I could believe the US case. They have probably a whole batch of Touch ready to go. So probably reduced Duet schedule. I wouldn't yet read anything into stock levels. It is probably just usual practice, albeit slightly unusual.
