I just ripped two albums using the iTunes-LAME script under Mac OSX Tiger and iTunes 5.0. I have my music library stored on an external FireWire drive. iTunes can see and play all the songs in each album, and I can confirm via the Finder that all the songs exist where they're supposed to exist, but the slimserver only sees a couple of the songs in the album.
The weird thing is that (this is using the default theme for the Web interface), the Home/Browse Artist/Album pane shows the name of the album and reports the correct number of tracks for that album. When I click through on the name of the album, though (Home/Browse Artists/Artist/Album), I'm only seeing tracks 1,3,5,7,9, and 11 of 11. Same goes for the other album I ripped yesterday. All of my other 938 albums appear to work as expected.
