Just had a problem with one of my SB3s connected to a Klipsch iFi -
which is basically a sub with connections to a pair of L/R speakers. It
first seemed as if the audio was dropping out every few seconds on both
channels. But when I paused the SB, I was still getting a pulse like
noise every few seconds. I physically disconnected the SB3 - no change.
I switched off everything else on the power strip. No change. I switched
off everything else on the circuit. No change.

Then I remembered that one of my rats had been around the back of the
sub yesterday. And when I checked, one pair of speaker wires had been
mangled by Ratty's teeth. Cut and reconnect and all is well.

Guess I'm going to have to find another playground for the little
guys!

Steve.
