LaLa and other Music Locker services allow one to upload ones ripped
library to a site so that the music can be accessed from any PC. I
believe the Squeezebox can access some of these also without having a PC
on at ones home. I don't believe any of these are free, one has to pay a
monthly or yearly fee for the storage.

I suggest just building a dedicated green music server. Then leave it
on all year of under $30 a year and you have the control. One could also
buy a Vortexbox.
