I tried version 1.30 and can confirm that the same problem occurs for every track that is protected (i.e. where a licence is needed). When slimcontrol starts caching my library, it stops reading the folder contents as soon as it comes across a protected track. However if the track is in a subfolder, the program continues to read to the end of all folders w/o problem. I spent a few hours yesterday to get a licence for all my copy protected tracks, and/or remove the protection. I haven't yet had a chance to delete and recreate the cache, but I guess this time it'll work fine. It would be great however if slimcontrol could add protected music to the library when reading folder content, even if it can't play it. Cheers and thanks again for this brilliant software !
