And just where is the problem for this is ALREADY the case. I believe anything above SC 7.3.3, uses S.o.X. to play 24/96 on the SB3 and the Transporter and the Touch both play 25/96 native. So again what is the issue or question because hardware wise the SB3 will never play 24/96 native as it is incapable. No amount of support is ever going to fix something the hardware is not capable of performing. Which is again why hardware wise there are the Transporter and Touch for what your calling the New Standard of 24/96 with S.o.X. lending transcoding support so one doesn't have to have two copies of the same material for 24/96 playback on an SB3. -- iPhone *iPhone* Media Room: Transporter, VTL TL-6.5 Signature Pre-Amp, Ayre MX-R Mono's, VeraStarr 6.4SE 6-channel Amp, Vandersteen Speakers: Quatro Mains, VCC-5 Reference Center, four VSM-1 Signatures, Video: Runco RS 900 CineWide AutoScope 2.35:1 Living Room: Duet, ADCOM GTP-870HD, Cinepro 3K6SE III Gold, Vandersteen Model 3A Signature, Two 2Wq subs, VCC-2, Two VSM-1 Kitchen: Squeezebox BOOM Bedroom: Second Boom Bathroom: Squeezebox Radio Ford Thunderbird: Duet, Mac Mini Ford Expedition: SB Touch, USB drive ------------------------------------------------------------------------ iPhone's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13622 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=76172 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
