You can meddle with /etc/udev/rules.d/z25_persistent-net.rules, there
must be lines in there for eth0 and eth1. If you delete these lines they
will be re-created (possibly w/ other names), or you can simply change
the NAME= value in the existing lines.
Then you need to reboot.
