thanks for the reply, both devices ( S'Box and CD) run through the DAC which the Amp sees as 'CD' so adjusting levels doesn't work. But, when I adjust the S'box volume output to Max then switch sources they are much closer in volume levels and then I use Amp volume control, simples!
