Steve, did you get this resolved?
I'm wondering if your slimserver.conf file got corrupted...

I thought I would try 6.2 beta and didn't have much luck.
My system is a 450 Sawtooth G4 with 1.25 GB RAM running OS X 10.2.4
I run three (two mostly) SLIMP3 players.
I tried reverting to 6.1 and then 6.01 and then full uninstall and
reinstall
6.1 (9/20/2005). The server stops after a few seconds before ever
getting
started.

I repaired permissions but don't have a clue as to what to do next
