My Ubuntu is much older (Hardy Heron), and I'm running a desktop rather than server build: Linux media-server 2.6.27-11-generic #1 SMP Wed Apr 1 20:57:48 UTC 2009 i686 GNU/Linux My machine is a 32 bit processor (1.5GHz VIA C7), not a 64bit one like yours. I'm also running quite a few third party plugins (Custom Browse, Lazy Search, Other Players, Power Switch II, Power Save). And my SqueezeCenter is pretty old (7.3.2).
