I posted about this on the Predixis forums, and one of the guys there says that it _should_ work if you start MMM with a '-slim' parameter on startup. There are lots of details on the site, but sadly I couldn't get it working even with the -slim switch. -slim means that MMM will expect SB as a player, even if it can't find SS when starting up. The most elegant solution (for me) remains the one posted here some time ago. The poster provided a detailed set of instructions on how to install MMM as a service, using "AppToService" by Basta software. It only costs $20, and it works like a charm...
