Ralphy thanks a lot, I'm on the lookout for a "real" 44100kHz usb sound card.
The only thing i'm going to try still is to play it of a windoooze pc and see if it takes 44.1kHz from that. I've read a lot lately, also about the dmix, you could just define multiple dmix's, like dmix1, dmix2 and choose thoose in squeezeslave, so multiple cards should be possible, but they have to accept 44.1kHz first. I also wonder if i should try to update the usb_audio_snd driver, i'll see if a newer version is there. Any suggestions on usb sound cards that work?
