One of the comments in the thread was about Boom (not Radio or Touch). The devices were returned by the poster to the retailer because of not being able to play particular stuff without local server.
I was simply adding to the confusion by explaining that AAC and aacPlus differences can, in theory, be got around but that in practice it seems to be a problem (for some other devices). At the time of writing I had not checked to see if Boom could natively play back AAC (as opposed to aacPlus - which is clearly cannot). -- Paul Webster Paul Webster http://dabdig.blogspot.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Paul Webster's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=105 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=78798 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
