Wired or wireless? If you've got the same problem with the devices on static IP addresses, then it's not DHCP - unless you've assigned static addresses within the DHCP "pool" and something's connecting at 9:01.
What sort of server are you running? I'd have a look at the logs to see if something's happening there. Event logs in Windows - not sure where to steer you in Mac/Lin, but I'm sure there'll be logs. Finding your "Now Playing" list cleared also points away from DHCP.
