Is there a "Dummy's" guide to applying this fix. I'm running FC3 Linux, have downloaded the latest mplayer cvs, but am completely lost in applying the fix.
Do I just cut and paste the changes (e.g. overwrite the entire) debian_real.c file, or should it be inserted somewhere? If this fix works I'm sure that there will be MANY happy BBC / Squeezebox listeners (including my wife).
