I have used a product called DVD Audio Ripper from ImTOO for several years (http://www.imtoo.com/dvd-audio-ripper.html). It costs about 30 usd, but gets round encryption etc. and is great for pulling audio off concert DVD's. I've never had a problem with it. You can often get a good deal on some of their bundled offerings.
