I don't know which SqueezeBox you are using, but on my Boom and Radio I have my favourite stations set up on the presets. So, I don't even need to switch on the device with the power button, let alone press play. I press the preset and it powers up and plays the radio station. Easy to set up. navigate to any station using the menu's and then hold the preset button down for a few seconds. On my old SB2, this of course has no buttons on the device.
