A lower price is certainly possible. Better sound quality may also be possible, but personally I haven't seen (heard) anything better in the Radio's price/size class.
Remember the Radio has a bi-amped speaker, and a DSP which is probably quite optimally programmed to fit the acoustics of the physical box it's in. The sound is not bad at all, for such a small device. The Radio is not dissimilar to the Boom in this regard. Have a look at the 'Boom's white paper' (http://wiki.slimdevices.com/uploads/a/ad/Logitech_Squeezebox_Boom_Audio_Design.pdf). -- Soulkeeper ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Soulkeeper's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=35297 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=80252 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
