As I wrote in my post, it is perfectly adequate _for_me_. I'm not speaking for others, though I recognize that many want an easier way to set a static IP. If so, they can support/not support this thread as they see fit.
>From my point of view there are other more pressing bugs and enhancements, such as customization of menus for SP-based players (beyond the simple "Home menu" options).
