I don't, I was trying to say that doing nothing takes less development
time than adding full support for configuring static IPs. 

Getting the DHCP client to work correctly would of course take more
time but it would result in a working solution also for non technical
users. I just think that if Logitech should do something they should
primary focus on a solution that will be usable by the users that
doesn't have the knowledge to use the already existing workaround.
