This is a good line of thinking. But the OP should still change channels just to eliminate a channel issue as the problem instead of pushing back when asking for help. Troubleshooting requires making changes and diagnosing the differences between State 1 and State 2. And with router prices falling the way they are, for twice what one can buy a replacement power supply for, one can have a new router. And its 10 times the router one used to have. If there is a Best Buy or Home Depot around, I would even buy a new router and if it didn't fix the problem just return it. Since all is well when using Ethernet, the problem is cut in half. Its probably not the SBS Server or Player (unless the WiFi card is flakey and usually they are all or nothing). So this leaves the router, its access point, or interference. Move the player within a few feet of the router, does the problem go away? Answer this question and we have cut the problem in half again. -- iPhone *iPhone* Media Room: Transporter, VTL TL-6.5 Signature Pre-Amp, Ayre MX-R Mono's, VeraStarr 6.4SE 6-channel Amp, Vandersteen Speakers: Quatro Mains, VCC-5 Reference Center, four VSM-1 Signatures, Video: Runco RS 900 CineWide AutoScope 2.35:1 Living Room: Duet, ADCOM GTP-870HD, Cinepro 3K6SE III Gold, Vandersteen Model 3A Signature, Two 2Wq subs, VCC-2, Two VSM-1 Kitchen: Squeezebox BOOM Bedroom: Second Boom Bathroom: Squeezebox Radio Ford Thunderbird: Duet, Mac Mini Ford Expedition: SB Touch, USB drive ------------------------------------------------------------------------ iPhone's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13622 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=81072 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
