Where is the cable plugged in to the wireless router?

Using the configuration you describe it should be connected to the
"lan" portion of the router.

I would also suggest that dhcp be disabled on the Zyxl so you only have
one dhcp server on the network.
At the same time I would give the Zyxl a static address. Give the Zyxl
a static address where the last set of numbers is one number higher (if
its less than 256) or lower than your BT Home Hub, (easy to remember it.
Write it down somewhere too so you can get to it later when you need
to.) and use BT Home Hub address for the Gateway and DNS addresses.

While you are there I would change the wireless channel to 1 or 11 to
see if that improves your wireless reception.

Last but not least - buy a longer cable and remove the extension. If
possible buy one long enough you can move the Zyxl closer to your
Squeezebox as that will (obviously) improve reception.
