I applied the settings on my NAS but I didn't notice any obvious WebUI or scanner speedups. OTOH Controller operation has sped up dramatically, instead of 5-10 sec delays the Controller now displays lists nearly instantly (<1 sec) when searching for music. Quite a significant improvement in usability...
